This work has had the largest circulation of any other of the kind published in Westland, and, from arrangements entered into, the publishers can guarantee about 2000 copies to be distributed south of Greymouth, ; 1000 north, and 2500 in Greymouth and district ; in f&ct, the publishers have met with ! such encouragemeDt as to warrant them in ' printing from 5000 to 6008 copies for 1874. As a medium of advertising it is unequalled, as it reaches the hands of merchants, miners, and the public, not only in the centres ot population, but in every gully j and creek where a party of men are located. In order to make it a Year-Book and an Almanac for) 1874, the publishers will not issue it in October, but will delay its publication till December, so that all the returns, statistics, elections, and other useful information may be made up to the close of 1873, and be contained in the Almanac of 1874.
