The s.s. Sangatira was expected to leave Wellington for Greymouth yesterday, for a second cargo of coal. At present the state of the bar is most satisfactory, but it is questionable if, by the time the Ringatira is laden, the depth of water between the wharf and the bar will be sufficient to admit of her easy departure. At the. present rate of conveyance it will take some time to load any vessel, the river being lower than it has been at this season for several years past, and it will be neap tides before the Rangatira can be ready to leave. The Waipararan np from Hokitika yesterday, with the Greymouth portion of the Tararna's cargo, and left last night for Westport and the Ngakawhau, intending to ship coal at the latter place, should the bar prove to be available, the low state of the Grey preventing a rapid supply from the Brunner mine. The tug-steamer Dispatch proceeded outside yesterday in search of the two coasting traders now due, the Spray and the Oceau Bird K.iiuma from Greymouth, arrived at Lyttelton ou 27th February,
