Notice .is Hereby Given, that on the ttyenty-fifth day of February, 1873, Edmund Wickes, one of the Councillors for*the Middl Ward of the Borough of Greymouth, having tendered his resignation, his Worship the Mayor has appointed TUESDAY, the EIGHTEENTH day of M^RUH, 1873, for the ELECTION of a COUNICLLOR for.the paid Ward, instead of the said Edmund Wickes, resigned : Notice ia hereby farther given, that an election will be held in pur- - suanceofthe requirements of the Municipal Corporations Acts, 1867 and 1871, at the Fire Brigade Hall, Boundary street, on Tuesday, the said eighteenth day of March, 1873, and the Poll, if necessary, will commence at 8 of the clock a.m., and close at 4 of the clock p.m. precisely. And furthermore, that the day for nomination of candidates to fill the said vacancy, is fixed for the 7th day of March, 1873.
