At a meeting of the stewards of the Ahaura Race 3, held at Kennedy's Hotel, Ahaura, on Friday evening, 7th inst., the following entries for the forthcoming race-meeting at Ahaura, were received : — TRIAL STAKES. All nominations bearing the postmark of 6th February are eligible for entry, and it is known there are some to come not included in the above list. The Hack Race and those for the Forced Handicap and Consolation Stakes are post entries. Dr Phillips and Mr D. Magee were appionted handicappers. It was decided that a Handicap Hurdle Race should £ake place on the last day of the meeting, If the funds would permit. After transacting other business," the meeting was adjourned to Wednesday, 12th February. ; •
