The rules of the Greymouth Jockey Club will be enforced, unless otherwise specified. No entry will be received unless upon the distinct understanding that the decision^ the stewards, or whoever they may appoint, shall in all cases be final, and all law "proceedings barred. All entries for the Hack Race are to made subject to the . approval of the Stewards. . . Night of general entries, 15th March; place, Albion Hotel. All entries and acceptances must be in writing, specifying age and description of horse and colors of rider, and enclosing the requsite money. . !> i All horses must be ridden in colors. All parties entering a horse must pay the sum of 3 soys. to the Race Fund (unless a member of the Club, who shall pay 1 soy:) in order to qualify themselves, entries for the Hack Race only being excepted.
