It is proposed to form a Miners' Association in the Bannpckburn (Otago), and adjacent districts. On the 11th January, the first Chinese marriage took place at Naseby (Otago), when Mr Louis Gay Tang, a Chinese storekeeper, was married to Miss Emily Finch. Another mammoth cave has been discovered in Kentucky. It should be called the Oave State.
