TKero are fears that ike barley crop will Be even worse than last year in quality as well as quantity. The drought which pas existed throughout the whole of this colony for snob, a lengthened period continues with unabated rigor, and the state of our grnsa lands is not only causing great anxiety, but is also having a serious effect noon the market for store stock. In addition to the information given last week, it nwy be stated that the Dalethorpe run has been bought by Mr Rutherford ; the Steventon run by Mr Cordy ; the View Hill run by Mr Gorton ; and the Mount Grey run by Messrs Mathias and Ensor.
