LATEST TELEGRAM. THE GOVERNOR AT DUNEDIN.
[NEW ZEALAND PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Dunedin, Dec. 21. The s.s. Luna has arrived. The Gor vornor landed in the Dido's boat, and inspected the Dido in dock. All the ships in harbor were decorated. His Excellency met with an enthusiastic reception in town. There was an immense crowd. At the Rattray street arch, the Mayor presented an address. As his Excellency entered Fernhill gates a thousand children sang the .National Anthem. . ; Wellington, Dec. 21. Mr Waterhouse's wool-shed at Wairarapa has been burned. It is supposed that the fire was caused by combustion , among a quantity of hay.
