The 8.8. St, Kilds, Captain Plowerday, from Wanganui and Westport, arrived yesterday Forenoon with a cargo of Btock. She will probably leave on her return trip to-day. The s.s. Charles Edward, from Nelson, via Hokitika, arrived yesterday afternoon, and leaves agaia to. night for Westport. The a.B.' Alhambra is expected to arrive here to-day from Nelson. She will take passengers for Melbourne direct. It will be noticed that during the holidays excursion tickets will be issued at reduced rates.
