RULES. The sports will commence on each day at 11 o'clock precisely. ' In each handicap race there must be three starters, or no prize ; four startersj or no second prize ; five starters, or no third prize ; and Bix starters, or no fourth prize. Should there be a tie in the Westland or District Handicaps, the deciding race will be run off at the middle distance. In each style of wrestling there must be six competitors, or no second prize ; and eight competitors, or no third or fourth prizes. The decision of the Committee in all cases shall be final.
