To be ► rowed on the gunwale. First prize, £6 ; second, £3j third, £1. Course, once round ; four entries or no race. 2. Sailing Race, open to any boats, ballast to be kept as at startiug. No oars, poles, or square sails to be used. First prize, £12; second, £4. Course, twice round. 3. Champion Sculling Race, open to all comers. Any class of boats, outriggers excepted ; such boats not to exced 25ft. in length. First prize, £12 ; second, £4 ; third, £1. Course, twice round 4. Boys' Pair-oared Race, in any boats. For boys not exceeding 15 years of age. First prize, £2; second, £1; third, 10s. Entrance, 2s 6d. 5. Second Sailing Race, for all open boats, with the exception of the winner of the lirsi sailing race. Ballast to be kept as at starting. No oars, poles, square sails, fins, leeboards, centre-boards, false keels, or washboards, to be used. First prize, £6 ; second, £3 ; third, £1. Course, twice round. 6. Champion Four-oared Race, open to all comers. Any class of boats, outriggers excepted. Boats not to exceed 28ft in length. First prize, £18; second, £4; third, €2. Course, twice round, 7. Amateur Pair-oared Race, in any boats. First prize, £5 ; second, £2. Course, twice round, 8. Pair-oaked Race, open to all comers in any class of boats. First prize, £8 ; second, £3; third £1. - Course, twice round. 9. Duck Hunt, post entries. Rules.— Three entries and three to start or no race, with the exception of the first race which requires four to enter. Entrances —7| P^r cent, on the prizes to be given on each event, excepting boys' race. All entries to be paid to the Treasurer on or before Saturday, the 28th December, and not later than 10 p.m. Stewards to alter the starting of any races as circumstances may require. Competitors are requested to appear in distinctive colors ; the same to be declared on day of. entry, Rules to be strictly, adhered to. Decision of the Stewards in all cases to I be final.
