Personally I have no desire to seek for "legislative honors," but if it is 'the opinion of the electors of Greymouth that I possess the ability to represent them in a creditable manner, and with advantage to the town and district, I am willing to sacrifice my personal feelings in the matter, and devote myself heartily to promote the prosperity of the district with which I have been so long identified.
