Per Mavis, for Hokicika : 40 tons cool, Nancarrow, Henderson and Co.
The scrtw steamer Go-Ahead, a stranger in these parts, but for some years a trader between North Island ports, arrived here early yesterday morning from Taranaki, Wanganui, and Westport, and immediately on her arrival the stock she brought was sold by Messrs D. Maclean and Co. She had previously discharged park of her stock and thirty tons potatoes at Westport. She arrives nnder command of Capt. M'Gillivray, formerly of the Marray, who proceeds with her from this port to Sydney. She will sail to-morrow evening, taking passengers and cargo. The Mary Grant, which brought to this port a large cargo of Tasmanian produce for the Greymouth and other West Coast markets, is now ready for sea, and expected to be towed out this morning. The Alhambra, the next steamer from Melbourne, is due at this port on Thursday.
