Melbourne.— The Telegraph of the sth inst reports :- The market for breadstnfffl continues to show signs of improvement We hear that clrse upon 3000 bushels wheat have been quitted at 6s 9d per bushel. One or two lmcs of first-class flour htve found buyers at up to L 1 4155. Oats are in good inquiry, and trade lots have been taken at 3s 2d to 3s 3£d for good feed, and up to 3s. Gil for prime milling. Upwards of COO bogs of tine maize was closed for at 3s '4d, and the market • closes decidedly firmer. The damaged portion of the cargo ex Anna Dorothea, from Foo Chow, consiscing of 510 packages of new season's tea, was disposed of at the bonded stores of the importers this morning, and excellent prices were obtained, ranging from Is 2d to 2s lid per lb in bond, and for net cash. A parcel of 50 tons of Patna rice, ex James Service, was negotiated at LlB- 10s per ton. Sugars have been in fair inquiry, and sales of brewing crystals are reported at L 37 15s, a line of medium connters realising L 3410".
