RUSH AT MAJORCA.

The Maryborough Advertiser of the 2nd September reports that a rush took place on Friday last to German Gully, about half a mile past Messrs Deed's reef, in consequence of its being reported that some nuggets bad been found. On Friday morning there were about two hundred people on the ground, and several holes going down, the sinking being very shallow, averaging from four to seven feet. On enquiry, the report of the nuggets being found was true, the lucky finder being a man of the name of Austin, who. had been working on the fajrm of bis brother-in-law, Mr Clarke, of the Beep Creek. He declared he,.gol no fine gold* but got bub one speck befpre. getting the nuggets, and one speck aft^r, and he said that the nature of the diggings was the same as Kingower — a ongget or nothing. This statement was afterwards confirmed by Mr John Deed, who had been working this ground, and he said that it was nuggety ground.
