PAROA ROAD BOARD.

[to the editor.] Sin— l see by the report of the\ last meeting of the Paroa Road Board,' that its members would not take any notice of a letter from one tenderer, and I must sayl don'.t think they dealt fairly with that individual. • The decision of the Board on the 9th instant gave public dissatisfaction in regard to the mode of payment. It would have been better for the Board to have called for fresh tenders for section No. 2, on the understanding that three-fourths of the money would be paid as the work proceeded. This would have been both a saving to the Board and some satisfaction to the public. I am, Ac, A Tenderer.
