A CORRECTION. \ » [to the editor.] joyce v. revbll (warden) am) elmer (bailiff). Sir — Upon my return to Greymouth, recently, from the Supreme Court Sittings ' in Hokitika, my attention was drawn to a report of this case in your issue of the sth Hist., which is incoirect. Your report stated that "his Honor said that the summons must be dismissed with costs. A nonsuit would be allowed, defendants to plead." Now, what his Honor Judge Gresson did decide was that Mr Newton's application to set aside the writ issued by the plaintiff should be dismissed with costs against the defendants, and his Honor, with my consent, granted the defendants one month's further time to deliver thoir pleas in this action. As your report is calculated to mislead, I trust you will insert this in your next iaauo. I pm, &c, A. R. Guinness, Plaintiffs Solicitor. Greymouth, 12th September, 1872. THE PORT DARWIN RUSH.
