Tho following, which is compiled from an official time table issued by the Post Office Department, shows the days on which the San Francisco mail is duo at and departs from Greymoutb during 1872 : — Inwards. July 21 August 2 August 18 „ 30 September ... 15 September ... 27 October 13 October 25 November ... 10 November . 22 December .. 8 December ... 20 The time allowance between Greynurath anil Auckland is six days ; between Auckland and San Francisco, 24- days; and between San Francisco and London, from 18 to 20 days— total from Grey mouth to Liondoo, 49 to 50 days
