Maize is in very short . supply, and quotations are firm at 3s 2d to 3s 3d. Sugars are getting into very demand, and numerous sales are pending. Low ordinary realised lOd ; medium, Is Id to Is 6d ; and good niedinm to fine, Is Id to Is MM. . Tobaccos are quiet, but very steady.
