The canto which was supposed to have been landed here by the s.s. Albion was not so landed. All that was landed here direct was nine cases of fruit ; the remainder was transhipped either at Nelson or Hokitika, and may be expected here by the first steamer. The 8.8. Kennedy may be expected here on Monday, with the mails and passengers carried on by the Tararua during the recent rough weather. The p.s. Charles Edward, from Nelson and Westport, arrived at the wharf on Friday's morning's tide. Yesterday she landed cargo, and will leave this morning for Hokitika. The steamer Albion shipped 1200 bags of grain at Timaru for Melbourne.
