[NEW ZEALAND PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Auckland, J nly 27. The Green Harp case has been reheard. Several witnesses were examined. They showed that many transfers had been made unstamped. The Court seized the transfers for a breach of the Stamp Act. The case was adjourned. It is said that two cases of small-pox among children at Newton have occurred, the disease having been conveyed by persons who assisted at the obsequies of those who died of small-pox ; also, that a boy has been suffering for a fortnight. Many discredit the statement that the disease is variola. iU are convalescent. The Chamber of Commerce have forwarded a memorial to the Government, on the subject drawbacks, stamp £duty, and licensing batteries. Much indignation is expressed at the Health Officer for passing the Nebraska.
