WARDEN'S COURT, AHAURA.
Friday, July 19. (Before Mr Warden Whjtefoord.)
Double areas of ground were granted to the following parties :— Jonathan Marks and party, Haftord's Terrace, Half-Ounce; Peter M'Mahon and party, Granville, Half-Ounce ; James Hicks and party (the Kennedy Race Company,), for six men, Dry Gully, Nelson Creek ; Geo. Wheeler and party, 60 by 180 ft, Half-Ounce Deep Lead ; JoseplfGrmidy and party, 200 by 200 ft, machine site, Half : Onnce Lead ; Felix Philip Healy and party, obtaining leave to divert the Slab Hut. Greek, near St. Patrick's Hill, in the Little Grey district. Permission to erect dams were granted to Marcy Medard, Little Grey ; John Isaacs, Hatter's Creek, Teviot. Grants for tail-races were given to James Hicks and party ; P. P. Healy and party. Chas. O'Hara and party applied for registration for an abandoned tunnel at Half* Ounce. The application was opposed by Peter M'Mahon and refused. The Court adjourned to July 2C.
