[NEW ZEALAND PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, July 17. A child infected with small-pox has been placed in quarantine, as well as its father, mother, and grandmother, although the child alone is infected. Auckland, July 17. In the Supreme Court, to-day, an application was made by Mrs Overt on for a dissolution of marriage, on the ground of adultery and cruelty by her husband. A verdict was given for the petitioner, and the marriage ordered to be dissolved. The Shotover Company has resolved to Buspend operations. Christchuroh, July 17. The nomination for Coleridge took place to-day. The show of hands was as follows :— Bluett, 21 ; Hart, 7 ; Jebson, 6. The poll takes place on Monday.
