VACCINATION.
I ,^ [TO THE EDITOR.] SiE,T-The following question has been frequently asked of me lately — " Is there a public vaccinator in Greymouth ?" The inquirers are residing in the vicinity of [Greymouth,- and have large iamiUei of young children, none of whom are vaccinated. The people are poor and cannot afford to pay the usual fea demanded by medical men, namely, 10s each vaccination. : By informing the public yon would oblige, ,■ jlam, &c., South Beach, July 16, 1872. , , [Dr Morice was appointed Public Vaccinator for the Grrey District by> the County Chairman, and we are under the impression that he accepted the appointment, but there is a difficulty as to whether he was even gazetted, or whether a gazette notice is necessary.
