The Government having been empowered by special Acts of the Legislature to enter into contracts for Insurances on Lives, and for the grants of Annuities and Endowments, are now prepared to execute any of the. usual contracts dependent upon the contingencies of human life; - : The following advantages are presented as v deserving of public: attention, and especially of the Working Classes. :r- ; 1. All transactions, and powers of attorney and other documents, are free Stamp Duty and all taxation.: 7. 2. No charge is made beyond the purchase , money or premium, y which may: bo. paid halfryearly or quarterly! ' 3. Should the assured die during the days ' of grace, the policy will stifl be yalid. 4. Surrender values, are granted on the whole or any part of a contract which . haa endured for five years. 5. The tables of Premiums in all the branches are considerably lesa than in any other office in New Zealand; - 6.
