It had been before arranged that the Queen should leave town for Windsor on the Friday. Her departure was made the occasion of another ovation. The clubs turned out, and large numbers of the aristocracy. No additional precautions were taken. The Queen trusted herself to the people, and rcwe up in her carriage to acknowledge the ringing cheers which greeted her first appearance.
