(JPROM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT.) Nelson, May 9. Mr Collins's motion condemnatory of the General Government, has been postponed. The Council is busy with the Highways and Town Improvements Bills. Both are drawn up without the slightest application to the Gold Fields, and thb Gold Fields members are trying to make them applicable. It has been resolved that the Government should introduce a Bill amending the Gold Fields Licensing Act, and a Select Committee has been appointed. The Hon. J. Yogel was a passenger to Wellington by the Taranaki.
