i The following tables show the amount t of money won by district representatives - at the Colonial rifle matches, and the total amount placed to the credit of the respeci tive districts : —

Captain Wales also takes Champion belt and gold medal : Sergeant Taylor, silver [ medal ; and Lieut. Muir, silver medal. ■ Private Cowie also holds North and South Island Challenge Cup. Buchanan, Wales, 1 Blatch, Cowie, Brown, Muir, Wilson, and | Taylor each take a Snider rifle.

Sergeant Cummins also^ takes the Champion Cavalry Belt and Medal. Corporal Carter also takes the National Rifle Association Medal. *One of Carter's prizes is the second Ladies' Prize, a marble ciopk ; and one of Bassett's prizes is that given by Mrs Cargill— a silvertea-service.
