Some little light is thrown upon the recent double case of drowning in Wanganui byithe New South Wales Police Gazette, of the ijlst February. It announced that Richard Drossing, late storekeeper at the Mudgee, Hnd Bella Crossing, were strongly suspected of being concerned in the murder of an illegitimate child, the offspring of Rel|a Crosfing ( while at Mudeee. The notice also gives/descriptipus'of the persons, says warrants had been issued, and that the body had riot been found.
