It was expected that the Gothenburg, or another of Messrs M'Meckan and Bfcckwood's steamers would arrive on the West Coast, about this date, from Melbourne, but the arrangements have apparently been altered. Tne ss Omen arrived yesterday at the Blnff, and will return to Melbourne after proceeding as far as Lyttelton. The agent here, Mr'Girdwood, has advice by her that the Claud Hamilton will be the next vessel to tbe Coast, and Bhe was arranged to sail on Sunday last. The ss Albion, now making the round of the ports, may be expected here by Thursday next.
