The body of a man was found floating in the Yarra, near the Yarra Bond Lunatic Asylum, by Mr Baldwin, employed at that institution. It was that of a man, apparently about forty years of age, with dark hair, and was very much decomposed. It was dressed in a black coac, dark tweed trousers and vest, elastic side boots, cotton socks, and in one of the pockets was found a scrap of paper, on which the following words were written .:•-" I could not live with my wife, and had not the life of a dog ith her.— B, Reaby."
