He expressed his belief that the Sergeant knew of his wife's conduct. The Bench said that the man had shown base assurance in going back to the place and repeating his conduct after being thrashed, instead of praying fervently; that he was not killed. The case was dismissed, with L 3 33 costs, or a month's imprisonment.
