L; SMITH wishes to impress on those who are laboring unde'r-diseoses which cannot be treated by the general medical attendant, troia insufficient knowledge and practice, that as an expert in these diseases, he has the ripnt to warn the public at large against the numoer of blatant charlatons and quacks who no* only extort the money out of the pookew of the patients, but are con-* iinually ruining the health of the unfortunate sufferers.
