Great Clearing-out Sale of Drapery, Clothing, &c, Commencing on WEDNESDAY, 14th INST., at their Stores, Albert street. SKOGLUND AND PUBCELL, After a week's labor, have saved the most of their Stock, and have now the pleasure to inform the public that they have RESUMED BUSINESS in the Store formerly occupied by CASS & CO., IN ALBERT STREET, OPPOSITE GIMN BROTHERS. Where S. and P. will be glad to see old friends and new faces, when, they can assure them, all will secure good bargains. Such destruction in Drapery has never before occurred in New Zealand, and S. and P. hope, for the sake of others, that it may never occur again. S. and P. cannot positively say what discount there will be on the goods, as they cannot give a price list, but they can assure their customers and the public that NO REASONABLE OFFER WILL BE REFUSED ; and the losers by the late flood, and those in want of Drapery, are requested to call at the New Establishment before purchasing elsewhere, us S. and P. are determined to clear out their stock within two months, at such prices as will satisfy every buyer. S. and P. do not think it- necessary to particularise their whole stock as it is so well known, and the details of which would occupy a newspaper, but desire everyone to call and examine it for themselves. Iv the Gentlemen's Department will be found MEN & BOY'S CLOTHING OP EVERY DESCRIPTION. Whatever you want you caa get at SKOGLUND & PURCELL'S. The same may be said of the LADIES' DEPARTMENT, where you can get DRESS MATERIALS in endless variety; UNDERCLOTHING, SILKS MOIRE ANTIQUES, SHAWLS, HOSIERY, and TRIMMINGS. HATS, 6d each, &c, &c. S. and P. have also a large Stcck of Ladies', Gentlemen's, and Children's BOOTS and SHOES at nominal prices. ' &KOGLUND and PURCELL beg to retpn their sincere thanks to the public of Greyuioufch and district for the patronage bestowed on tliem during the last six years, and hope that during the-ensuing sale they will be still more 1 liberally supported.
