The following is the result of the polling in the election of a member for the Wakafcip district : — Hallenstein - - - 432 Macassey - -•• - 230 Wellington, March 14. The Board of Health met to-day, when Doctor Bulraer reported that there were several children in the ship England suffering from diarrhoea .and catarrh, and two distinct cases of small-pox. Both the adults are doing well.
