Obey River Argus Office, Tuesday evening. Tho amount of revenuo received at the Caatomß on goods passed for home consumption to-day was £135 15s Id.
TiMARU.-Thc Herald, of March 4, reports :— Business in grain during the past week has tot been very brisk, comprising only two or three transactions in wheat, of which one very prime lot of 2000 bushels fetched 3s 7d, which is the top price. In oats no business whatever has been done ; from Is 7d to Is 1W ia their nominal value. Barley— None offering. Oamaru.— The Times, of the sth, says :~ Wheat remains at 4s for prime milling, and is now coming forward much more freely, farmers taking advantage of the presont favorable weather to thrash oat as fast as possible. Oats, Is 9d for good feeding ; barley, 3s 9d offered ; farmers, however, decline to operate at this quotation, and seem disposed to hold for a higher rate. Flour, Ll2toLl2 10s ; oatmeal, Ll4 ; pollard, L 4; bran, L 3.
