No entry will be received unless upon the distinct understanding that the decision of the stewards, or whoever they may appoint, shall in all cases be final, and all law proceedings barred All entries for the Hauk Race are to be made subject to tho approval of tho stewards. Entries and nominations to be made on Saturday evening, the 16th day of March, previous to 8 o'clock, at tho Albion Hotel, Greymouth. All entries and acceptances must be in writing, specifying age and description of horso and colors of rider, and enclosing the requisite money. All horses must be ridden in colors. All partiea entering a horse must pay the sum of £hree soys to tho Race Fund (unless a member of the Club, who shall pay one soy.) ii order to qualify themselves, entries for tho Hack Eace only being excepted. Acceptors fcir the Greymouth Jockey Club I Handicap must pay the Eace Fund qualification fee. „ Three horses for all races must enter (and, in tlio event of a handicap, accept) or tho public money will bo withheld. All Btakes paid less 5 per cent towards expenses. Nominations (if received in time) bearing pest mark of 16th March will be received Any horse found galloping upon the sours 1-revious to 18th March will be disqualified.
