The oteamer WaUabi sailed yesterday forenoon for Wanganui. The pj. Charles Edwasd left Hokitika yesterday afternoon and passed this port on her way north. She intends to make a special trip from Nelson for the Greymouth Haoea, and is expected to arrive here on Sunday afternoon next. The Kate Conley was the only vessel loading for Ureymouth when the Albion left Melbourne In the Argus, of the 26th ultimo, none of M'Meckan, Blackwood and Co.'s steamers are announced to leave for the West Coast direct. The Claud Hamilton was announced on the 23rd, but had evidently been withdrawn, but must have been re-announced in accordance with the Gothenburg's telegrams, and may be expected at Hokitika this morning. The steamship Albion. 80 > tons, John M'Lean, commander, cleared Port Phillip Heads at 6 p.m. on the 26th ultimo, and arrived at Bluff Harbor at 11 a.m. on the 2nd instant; left at 6 pm. same day; left Dunedin at 6 p.m. on the sth ; Lyttelton on the 7th ; Wellington on the Bth, and Nelson at 10 p.m. on the 9th, arriving here at 9 p jn. on Sunday. She passed on to Hokitika, and was there tendered, returning here yesterday at 2 p.m. The Dispatch was outside waiting for her, and transhipped to her 10 passengers and 12940z 12dwt gold for the Bank of New Zealand, and brought ashore eight passengers. The Albion left immediately for Melbourne direct
