Drapery., \ : FLOODS. FLOODS^ FLOODS, GREAT DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY. j Great Clearing-out Sale of Birapery, Clothing, &e.y Commencing on WEDNESDAY, 14th INST., at their Stores, Albert street, \ SKOGLUND AJSTD PUKOELL, After a week's labor, have saved the most of their Stock, and have now the pleasure to inform the public that they have RESUMED BUSINESS in the Store formerly occupied by CASS & CO., ■■■' ( IN ALBERT STREET, OPPOSITE GLENN BROTHERS. Where S. and P. will be glad to see old friends and new faces, when, they can assure them, all "will secure good bargains. Such destruction in Drapery has never before occurred in New Zealand, and S. and P. hope, for the sake of others, that it may never occur again. S. and P. cannot positively say what discount* there will be on the goods, as they cannot' give a price list, but they can assure their customers and the public that NO REASONABLE OFFER WILL BE REFUSED ; and the losers by the late flood, and those in want of Drapery, are requested to call at the New Establishment before purchasing elsewhere, as S. and P. are determined to clear out their stock -within two months, at such prices as will satisfy every buyer. S. and P. do not think it necessary to particularise their whole stock as it is so well known, and the details of which would occupy a newspaper; but desire everyone to call and examine it for themselves. In the Gentlemen's Department will be found MEN 6r BOY'S CLOTHING OF EVERY DESCRIPTION. Whatever you want you can get at SKOGLUND & PURCELL'S. , ; The same may be said of the LADIES' DEPARTMENT, where you can get DRESS MATERIALS in endless variety; UNDERCLOTHING, SILKS MOIRE ANTIQUES, SHAWLS, HOSIERY, and TRIMMINGS. HATS, 6d each, &c, &c. : S. and P. have also a large Stcck of Ladies', Gentlemen's, and Children's BOOTS and SHOES at nominal prices. SKOGLUND and PURCELL beg to return their sincere thanks to the public of Greymouth and district for the patronage, bestowed on them during the last six years, and hope that during the ensuing sale they will be still more liberally supported. ■ NOTE THE ADDRESS SKOGLUND AND PUROELL, (NEW ESTABLISHMENT) Albert street, opposite Glenn Brothers, GREYMOUTH.
