Three penny postage stamps were lately found on an inmate of the County Pauper Lunatic Asylum at Hauwell, who had been for some years confined there at the cost of tli c parish of Islington. The asylu m authorities thereupon forwarded the stamps to the guardiaus of Islington at the cost of a penny, and requested an acknowledgment at the cost of another penny for postage. The item is duly recorded m the books of the asylum and also m those of the guardians, and the cost of stationery and postage will if ar exceed the value of the stamps found on tho poor man.
