No cutty will be received unless upon the distinct understanding that the decision of ' the stewards, or whoever they may appoint, shall in all cases be final, and all law proceedings barred. All entries for the Hack Race are to be made subject to the approval of the ctewards. , Entries and nominations to be made on Saturday evening, the 16th day of March", previous to 8 o'clock, at the Albion Hotel, Greymouth. "' i All entries and acceptances must be in writing, specifying age and description of horse and colors of 'rider, and enclosing the requisite money. All horses must be ridden in colors. All parties entering a horse must pay the sum of three soys to tho Race' Fund (unless a member of the Club, who shall pay one soy. ) i.t order to qualify themselves, entries for the Hack Race only being excepted. Three horses for all races must enter (and, i in the event of a handicap, accept) or the public money will be withheld. All stakes paid less 5 per cent towards expenses. Nominations (if received in time) bearing pest mark of 16th March will be received. Any horse found galloping upon the sourse ; previous to 18th March will be disqualified.
