The steamer Charles Edward left Nelson '•"on Wednesday afternoon, arrived in the Buller.. early on Thursday, sailed yesterday . morning, and entered the Grey by the midday tide. , She leaves to-day for Hokitika. The steamer Murray returned from Hokitika yesterday, after a short stay in that port.' She sails to-day for Westport and Nelson. The brigantine Ceres, from Melbourne, was towed into port yesterday by the Dispatch. Her draught of water was too great to admit of her being towed up to the wharf, * and she was anchored in tho deep water inside the bar, where she is now discharging cargo into the Dispatch, to enable her to be ■ towed np to a berth.
