. The following, which is compiled from an official time table issued by the Post Office Department, "hows the days on which the San Francisco mail is doe at and departs from Greymooth daring 1872 :—
The time allowance between Greyaoath and Auckland is cut d»ye ; between Auckland and Son frapcisco, 24 days; and between San Francisco and London, from ' 19 to 20 days— total from Greymouth to London, 49 to 50 days 4
