Mr. Fox, headed by Mr O'Conpr, and urged the construction of the dray road by the Buller and Grey Valleys i protested against the expenditure of L6OOO, as proposed, by Messrs Harrison and Curtis, in the Waimea District, as a gross attempt to defraud the Grey and Buller Districts. They complained of the neglect and apathy of Nelson Government, urging the withdrawal of the delegated powers, and separation from Nelson ■ as the only reniedy. Dcnedin, Feb. 6.
