Mares and geldings allowed 31bs. < : REGULATIONS. :: The rules of the Greymouth Jockey Club will be enforced, unless otherwise specified. No entry will be received unless upon the distinct understanding that the decision of the stewards, or whoever they may appoint, shall in all cases be final, and all law proceedings barred. All entries for the Hack Race are to be made subject to the approval of the ntewards. Entries and nominations to be made on Saturday evening, the 16th day of March, previous to 8 o'clock, at the Albion Hotel, Greymouth. .. . : , ; : All entries and acceptances must be in writing, specifying age and description of horse and colors of nder, and enclosing the requisite money. All horses must be ridden in colors. . All partiea entering a horse must pay the Bum of three soys to the Race Fund (unless a member of the Club, who shall pay one soy.) is. order to qualify themselveß, entries for the Hack Race only being excepted. Acceptors for the Greymouth Jockey Club Handicap must pay the Race Fund qualification JEee. Three horses for all races must enter (and, in the event of a handicap, accept) or the public money will be withheld, All stakes paid less 5 per cent towards expenses.. • . • ■ . • > .
