A GRIEVANCE.

(to the kditob.] Sir— l would call attention, through the medium of your paper, to the disadvantages this port is subject to in the delivcry^of goods by Messrs M'Meckan, Black wood, and Co-s steamers. Goods shipped by Rangitoto were delivered in Hokitika on Monday last, but those for this port have not yet arrived. I think it only requires the importers, of Greymouth, to impress upon the owners of these steamers the importance ot delivering the goods at this port, to prevent the delay that contiuually occurs by transhipping at Hokitika. I am, &c, C. A. Faewio Greymonth, 2nd February, 1872.
