No entry will be received unless upon the distinct understanding that the decision of the stewards, or whoever they may appoint, shall in all cases be final, and all law proceedings barred. ■ All entries for. the Hack Race are to be made subject- to the approval of the ntewards. . . ... . . . Entries and nominations to be made on Saturday evening, the 16th day of March, previous to 8 o'clock, at the Albion Hotel, Greymouth. All entries and acceptances must be in writing, specifying age and description of horse and colors of rider, and enclosing the .requisite money. All horses must be ridden in colors. All parties entering a horse must pay the sum ofthree soys to the Race Fund (unless a member of the Club, who shall pay one soy.) iA order to qualify themselves, entrieis f or the Hack Race only being excepted. . . Acceptors for the Greymouth Jockey Club Handicap must pay the Race Fund qualificationfee. ■ : Three horses for all races mnst enter (and, in the event of a handicap, accept) or the public money will be withheld.
