Thermometer was highest at Tauranga, 72 ; and lowest at Balclutha and the Bealcy, 57. The 9.5. Kennedy is announced to sail for Westport and Nelson on Tuesday evening. Up to a late hour last night there was no telegraphic notice of the arrival of the s.s. Bangitoto with the Suez mail. It is highly probable Abe will arrive off Hokitika during the night, and be tendered this morning.
