Mares and geldings allowed 31bs. REGULATIONS. The rules of the Grey. nouth Jockey Club will be enforced, unless otherwise specified. No entry will be received ur!ess upon the distinct understanding that the decision of the stewards, or whoever they may appoint, shall in all cases be final, and all law proussdings barred. All entiles for the Hack Race are to be made subject to the approval of the stewards. / Entiles and nominations to be made on Saturday ever'Dg, the 16th day of March, previous to 8 o'clock, at the Albion Hotel, Greymouth. Ail entries and acceptances must be in writing, specifying age and description of horse and colors of rider, and enclosing the reouisite money. All horses must be ridden in colors. All parties entering a horse must pay the sum ofthrea soys to tho Race Fund (unless a member of the Club, who shall pay one soy.) j i order to qualify themselves, entries for the Hack Race only being excepted. Acceptors for the Grej mouth Jockey Club Handicap must pay the Race Fund qualification fee. Three horses for all races must enter (and, in the event of a handicap, accept) or the public money will be withheld. All stakes paid less 5 per cent towards expenses.
