From that journal we learn that there are twenty, shops in Glasgow at which the meat is retailed in 21b, 41b, and 61b tins, the mutton being sold at7d, and the beef at 8d per lb. There is also a wholesale agency for the sale of the meat in Glasgow, and another in Leith.
